Know what Data 360 will cost you,
before you commit.
Data 360 (formerly Data Cloud) is priced on credits, and your setup decides the bill. Estimate your consumption in two minutes, or prove it on a real use case with us.
One data foundation for marketing, sales and service
You may know it as Data Cloud. Marketing Cloud Next is built on it, so every new feature, from segments to AI, works from your Data 360 data.
Unifies profiles
One profile per customer, built from CRM, commerce, service and web data.
Segments beyond the CRM
Audiences built on everything you know, not only what sits in Salesforce.
Holds consent
Consent per subscription and channel, which is the starting point for GDPR.
Activates everywhere
The same audiences reach email, SMS and ads, and your sales and service teams.
What are you actually paying for?
Data 360 doesn’t charge per seat or per contact. You buy credits up front, and the five actions shown above spend them.
List price per 100,000 credits. Negotiated rates vary by agreement.
Most agreements are yearly credit commitments. You buy the pool up front, and your setup drains it through the year.
Billed by volume stored, outside the credit pool. Two line items, not one.
Two identical licences can consume very differently. Refreshing data hourly instead of daily, or activating every segment in real time, can multiply consumption many times over with no visible change for the customer. So the question is never “what does Data 360 cost”. It is “what will our setup consume”. That is what the calculator estimates, and what the Digital Wallet in Salesforce later reports as actuals.
Estimate your consumption in two minutes
Describe your setup
Pick your size, then adjust a few fields: records, refresh, profiles, daily changes and segments. Optional fields add insights, lookups and streaming.
Get your number
Monthly and first-year credits, broken down by action, and compared with the credits included in Data 360 provisioning.
See what drives it
The calculator names your biggest driver, and shows what hourly refresh would cost compared with your setup.
Start with your own setup and have a first estimate in about two minutes. Built on Salesforce’s published rates, with every assumption shown.
Three ways to use the calculator well
Run your honest scenario first
Today’s records, how often data truly changes, the segments you really activate. That is your budget number.
Then run the ambition
Same records, hourly refresh and activation. The gap is the price of real time, and most B2B use cases don’t need it.
Bring both numbers to the meeting
A range beats a guess, and lets you decide the architecture on facts.
Prove Data 360 on one real use case
The calculator gives you an estimate. A pilot gives you the real number. We connect your data, build one use case end to end, and measure what it actually consumes, before you commit to a budget or a platform move.
Connect
Bring in one or two key sources, such as CRM and web.
Unify
Identity rules tested on your real data, so people are neither merged nor duplicated.
Activate
One segment built and sent to a real channel.
Measure
Actual credit use compared with the estimate.
Start with a 30-minute scoping call
What you bring
- One use case you want to prove
- Access to one or two data sources
- An owner on your side for data and consent
What happens next
- We agree the use case and how success is measured
- We confirm scope, timeframe and cost
- The pilot starts, and your current setup keeps running
What teams ask us about Data 360
Answers updated as the product evolves. Last updated October 2026.
Head of CRM“Do we already have Data 360?”+
Possibly. Salesforce Foundations includes Data 360 with a starting amount of credits for Sales Cloud and Service Cloud Enterprise Edition and above. To check: ask your Salesforce admin to search Setup for Data Cloud or Data 360. If the setup page opens, it is provisioned, and the Digital Wallet shows your credits. If not, Foundations can be enabled at no cost. Use beyond the included credits is paid by consumption.
CFO“How accurate is the estimate?”+
It is directional: good enough to size a budget conversation, not a quote. In a pilot we measure actual use and cross-check against Salesforce’s official Data 360 pricing calculator.
Marketing operations“What makes consumption spike?”+
Hourly data refresh, real-time activation and running identity resolution on every load. Most B2B use cases run well on daily batches.
Salesforce architect“Is Data 360 only for Marketing Cloud Next?”+
No. Sales, service and analytics can use the same data, which is exactly why ownership of Data 360 and its credit budget needs to be clear.
